Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry discusses strengthening economic cooperation with Uzbekistan

Abdul Wahab Al-Wazzan, the First Vice-Chairman of the Kuwaiti Chamber of Commerce and Industry, received the Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the State of Kuwait, Dr. Bahromdjon Aloyev. The two sides discussed ways to strengthen economic cooperation between the two countries.
Al-Wazzan stressed that "the Chamber is keen to increase trade and investment operations between the two countries, through further efforts to achieve the desired objectives," adding that "the Kuwaiti private sector hopes to be provided with the investment and commercial opportunities available in vital sectors in Uzbekistan, as well as preparing the appropriate investment environment and get familiar with the privileges offered to foreign investors."
"The chamber is ready to harness all its potential for the Uzbek side in terms of receiving economic delegations and setting up trade fairs to introduce the various Uzbek products," he added.
On the other hand, Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry revealed that the volume of trade exchange between Kuwait and Denmark amounted $ 142 million in 2017, announcing its readiness to provide all services that promote relations between the two countries in various fields.
