Mr. Perry Fung, the Regional Director of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council for the Middle East and Africa, visited Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, where he was received by the Chamber's second vice-chairman Mohamed Abduljabbar Mahmood Alkooheji, the Chamber's Treasurer Aaref Ahmed Ali Hejres and Shakir Ebrahim Al Shater the Chief Executive Officer.
During the meeting, they discussed the promising business and investment opportunities between Bahrain and Hong Kong in the areas of infrastructure and development projects that will enhance the economy of both countries. They also discussed the undergoing preparations for the conference “Hong Kong investment opportunities under the belt and road initiator" which will be organized by joint efforts between the two parties and will also be held under the patronage of the Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry Sameer Nass, and in joint cooperation between the Bahrain Economic Development Board and Hong Kong Trade Development Council.
They emphasized the importance of organizing such high-level trade forum that would enhance trade cooperation between Bahrain and Hong Kong and facilitate partnerships and increase investment.
