Secretary General of UAC meets with the Chairman of Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry

During his visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Secretary-General of the Union of Arab Chambers, Dr. Khalid Hanafi, met with the Chairman of Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Sameer Abdullah Nas, in the presence of the Chairman of the Amman Chamber of Commerce, Senator Issa Haidar Murad and the 2nd vice president of Bahrain Chamber Mohamed Abduljabbar Mahmood Alkooheji and two members of the Board of Directors Abdulhakeem Ebrahim Mohammed AlShemeri and Batool Mohamed Ahmed Dadabai, along with a number of officials in the Chamber.
Hanafi stressed on the need to activate the role of the Arab chambers of commerce with foreign chambers because of the positive role in promoting and developing the volume of economic, trade and investment relations between the Arab countries and the countries of the world confirming the importance of modernizing the legislations regarding Arab electronic commerce for its importance in developing the Arab economies. "
For his part, Nass pointed out that "there are great possibilities and opportunities for trade cooperation between businessmen and businesswomen in the Kingdoms of Bahrain and Jordan in various fields," pointing out "the importance of benefiting the trade and business sectors in both countries of the trade and economic cooperation agreements signed between the governments of the two countries, noting that intensifying visits between Bahraini businessmen and their Jordanian counterparts is necessary to identify opportunities and create targeted projects that benefit the economy of both countries. "
The Chairman of the Amman Chamber of Commerce, Senator Issa Haidar Murad, stressed on "the keenness of the Jordanian private sector to attract more Bahraini investments to Jordan," ensuring that Bahrain is an important investment and commercial partner for Jordan and stating that Amman chamber of commerce is fully ready to follow-up with Bahrain Chamber of Commerce & Industry to exchange visits of specialized trade delegations between the two kingdoms.
