The Bahrain & Arab – Italian Chambers are looking to Enhance Cooperation

The Chairman of Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Sameer Abdulla Nass confirmed during his meeting with the Second Vice Chairman of the Joint Italian Arab Chamber of Commerce, Pietro Paolo Rampino, accompanied by the Ambassador of the Republic of Italy to the Kingdom of Bahrain Domenico Pilato, on “the importance of the joint meetings and visits between officials in the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of Italy especially those that focus on strengthening the joint relations between the chambers of commerce and industry in friendly countries and push towards the development of trade and investment exchanges between Bahrain and Italy, which reached until 2017 to about 462 million dollars.”
During the meeting, Nass stressed pointed out the importance of enhancing the cooperation between the two chambers to improve economic and investment relations between the two sides and discuss more joint ventures to establish promising trade relations. He added that "the strengthening of relations in a manner commensurate with the size of the possibilities and opportunities available in Bahrain and Italy requires the provision of all facilities and to strengthen the role of the Italian Embassy in the Kingdom. "
"The fields of cooperation between the two countries are many and available in various sectors of the business," said the Treasurer and the Acting Secretary-General of the Joint Italian Arab Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Aref Ahmad Hegres, calling for "strengthening cooperation in the sectors of exhibitions, education, real estate, health and medical care," pointing out that "the Bahraini side needs to be closely acquainted with the booming Italian economic sectors to open investment channels between the two sides and to contribute to raising the rates of binary trade between the friendly countries ".
