Arab - African International Investment Forum

Within the context of encouraging the Arab-African interdependence, achieving economic integration, and supporting the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s goal to achieve economic growth and support for Arab and African countries through Egypt’s presidency of the African Union, which is considered an Arab-African entrance to achieve the aspirations of countries and help them achieve a sustainable economic renaissance, the activities of the 1st Arab-African International Investment Forum starts at the Land of Exhibitions in Jeddah in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, during the period from 3 to 5 February 2020, which is organized by Eko for consulting and organizing exhibitions and conferences in cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Jeddah and the General Authority for Conferences and exhibitions in Saudi Arabia, the World Fund of Development & Planning, the African Union of Bilateral Trade, and under the auspices of the General Investment Authority in Egypt, over a period of three days including a conference and trade fair.

The first day is dedicated for the opening of the Forum and the holding of a conference throughout the day consisting of 5 sessions attended by a number of officials from Arab and African countries and sponsored by economic, commercial and industrial entities from Egypt and Saudi Arabia and a number of Arab and African countries.

In parallel, the exhibition will start over three days and will open its doors to all companies and investors wishing to learn about the investment opportunities available in Arab and African countries.

The forum will contribute to providing a giant platform through a professional African international exhibition to show investment opportunities in the industry, investment and inter-trade sector and assist companies and business leaders in communicating with their peers in Africa and other countries from all over the world, in addition to the supportive bodies of private, governmental and African investment in order to reach effective solutions to reduce problems hindering successful investment, industry, and intra-regional trade in Africa.

 

Forum goals

· Provide a comprehensive environment to support and enhance investment, industry and inter-trade to ensure the success of trade and investment relations in MENA region.

· Achieving a comprehensive Arab and Gulf development plan.

· Opening new markets for Arab and African products and introducing Arab and African investment opportunities.

· Exchanging experiences in the field of trade, industry and investment in a successful investment climate.

· Exchanging commercial, logistical and investment information between Arab and African delegations through businessmen and investors to achieve development goals.

· Provide a practical space for young Arab and African entrepreneurs to meet.
